The best way to reach Gavi is taking a KSRTC bus to Gavi from Pathanamthitta KSRTC bus stand, KSRTC ( Kerala state road transport corporation offer two bus serivces to Gavi one in the morning and second in the afternoon.
It is a mind blowing trip which will take you through the rich sights of Gavi, bus flowing through the dense forest road will be one of the most thrilling experiences of life. Bus passes through 3 different dams like Kakki, Anathodu and Pamba.Kakki dam offers some beautiful sight. The morning bus starts from Pathanamthitta around 6:30 Am and reached Gavi around 11:00 Am.

Gavi Yatra - Best times to visit Gavi

Best time to visit Kerala, Gavi depends heavily of what you exactly like in life. If you enjoy a rainy eve then visit during the most exciting Kerala monsoon season. Other than the monsoon season climate at Gavi is always cool and calm.

Monsoon hits Kerala normally in the first week of June and continue till September, you can enjoy the heavy rains falling through the leaves of dense forests of Gavi during the monsoon. Symphony of rain, shivering nights put together will be one of the best experience in life

June - september - Season of Monsoon , characteristic heavy rain.
Visit Gavi if you want to enjoy heavy rain only.

September - February - Chilling weather.

Most ideal time to visit Gavi and Kerala. Temperature below 20 Celsius.

March - May end - Hot weather.

Temperature normally around 30 to 35 Celsius. Not very ideal time if you don't enjoy hot climates.
