It was a husky eve, nothing much on the cards, Idling has taken its toll, boredom override all other emotions, decided to kick on the starter. The sun just wanted to finish his job to get a good night sleep. I am just clueless where to go. If you got no where else to go then hit Munnar, Its always a Hot destination, those silver rains will never betray you. It was around 9 when I reached Adimali.
Suddenly just remembered about a friend, who stayed once in Gloria farms at Shanthan para. Unkonwn paths thrills ever, temptation overrode doubts, Head lights showed the way, I don't know why I always prefer to ride in nights, but sure that those who ever tasted it will never think of any thing else.
Vellathooval, a place named so, Can' t imagine what made a man to name the place so, still when I stopped here for a break , I felt like free falling feather.
Well, If you are not a planned, organised traveler. Then you must master in the art of shamelessness, begging. So Somehow convinced Mr. Binu to get a stay at Al Marai farms , shanthan para.
If you never been to this place, then you have not seen the best of Western guts. Munnar is a just a spot of beauty, Shanthan para is marvelous picturesque of nature, pristine, virgin and deep forest to conquer.
Stay at more than 100 years old summer palace in side a deep forest, have you ever imagined it in your life even in your wild dreams, no way. We planned a jeep trip to explore those not much explored beauty of shanthan para.
You can see the beauty of Tamilnadu from the peaks of Shanthan para. Its so pristine and delicate dense forest that you will even be afraid to put your foot on those soils thinking it may harm the nature.
Stay and accomodation:
At
Al Marai Estate , Shanthan para.

A trip to Chembramala, Wayanad.
A husky dawn just kicked off, sun light just protruded through
the mighty mist of Wayanad. Its another day another trip to explore the bloody
hills of Wayanad. This time it is Chembramala. History lies there in the shores
of the beautiful “Heart Shaped Lake” which awaits for us in the top of
Chembramala. 2100 feet tall Chembramala must be among one of the top most hills
in Kerala. The rain is playing hide and seek with us, with time it became more
and more intense. I can’t resist get wet in it. We just drove through those
silly tea plantations to reach the top of Chembramala.
Chembramala got of lots of stories to tell us. It looks like
a heavy history lies in those dense forest, for the tribes it is one of the
most sacred hills in Wayanad, but our great Colonizers enjoyed to play Golf in
these serenity, two ways of looking at life and nature. Philosophy of life in
this entire world just got described in these two attitudes of living at
nature.
You can get a panoramic view of Nilambur – Mepadi forests
from the top of Chembra hills. Just chill yourself in the silver rains of
Chembramala . Life is short but grab full out of it.
The best season to visit Chembramala is nothing other than our
chilling monsoon, you can drip yourself in those glorious Silver rain. If it is
season you can get the feast of flowered wild orchids too.
Forest department arranges trucking up to the "Heart Lake" in the top of Chembramala, for a group of 10 they charge 500 rupees.
